ONLY IF YOU WANNA...

I tell folks all the time to only do things, because they want to...
If doing something for someone is a burden to you, don't do it,
Because there is absolutely no blessing in burdened giving,
You truly block your blessings when you give with your hands and not from your heart,
I have found myself in situations in times past,
Where I was doing things, saying yes to some stuff,
That didn't feel good or right and brought me no joy,
But I felt I had to...
And I know why,
Because at times we are so damned fearful,
That if we don't do a thing,
Then the person who has asked for it,
Won't love us any longer,
It is all tied to love, you know...
We all have an inherent desire to be loved and accepted,
But what I had to learn is this,
IF I SAY NO TO YOU, IT IS ULTIMATELY WHAT IS BEST FOR ME,
AND FOR YOU, IF I CAN'T GIVE IT FREELY...
And sometimes no is the only answer that works,
So the next time you get ready to give something, or do something,
Ask yourself,
Am I doing this from my heart,
With no conditions,
Or expectations,
Of reciprocation,
And even then,
ONLY DO IT OR GIVE IT, IF YOU WANNA...

BE BLESSED!
