I am thinking about doing a question and answer blog. I get so many questions from so many places about this, that or the other. Well, usually marriage, sex, finances, love and or writing. Thinking of naming it JUST ASK let's test drive it today and I will do my best to answer any and all questions you might have. And no I am not Cinnamon Brown...Hah!

I love the idea of this sis and will kick things off with a question I'm sure you may get often:

How do you balance it all?

As a wife, mother, friend, business owner, etc., I've noticed over the last couple of years (since I had my second child) that I simply just can't keep up. I'll also admit that I'm a workaholic, but I am over that title after holding it for the last 20 years.

I've done much better lately with just taking it easy and not over-extending or stressing myself, but there are times when I just want to be "off" from everything.

Hey Tee..

I am anally organized. I do everything in its own space and time, not allowing anything to overlap if I can. It also helps that my kids are grown and my husband us ubersupportive, in my family we have always done that which we are best at. I am a tasks manager and Mench is crisis manager. I cook, he washes dishes, I put the clothes in the washer and dryer and he puts them up. When the boys were home, we made them very chore oriented and they were taught by their father to honor the QUEEN. So when at work,I work, when at writing I write, when at wifing, well you know wha I'm saying...I am a planner, organizer, executer and I dont obligate myself to things that arent worthy!

How can you REALLY forgive somebody without there being any more feelings about it when your around that person?

Nicole said...

What do you think about women who intentionally want to be the other woman?

Angelia Vernon Menchan said...

@Pasch you have to come to the realization that forgiveness is for you not them. And mind you there is no such thing as forgive and forget. No wise person forgets and the word teaches forgive not forget. Also sometime you have to remove yourself. Forgiving doesn't mean continuing to roll with those you have forgiven. I have forgiven many and some I leave to their own stuff.

@Nicole I think that is a misguided woman with disrespect for other women and herself. Many feel it's a badge of honor to take a man. But if he were taken he would be with the other woman. And usually men never leave wives for those women. Many feel it's power but they don't know coochie is the easiest thing to catch right up ther with the common cold.
