LOVED TO DEATH - ROSA FERGUSON BLOGTOUR

Rosa Elmore Ferguson is the author of LOVED TO DEATH: A Different Kind of Love Story and LOVED TO DEATH: The Truth Unfolds. LOVED TO DEATH: The City Speaks will be out in early 2011.
Born Infant Sleigh, Mrs. Ferguson, and adoptee, has been searching for her biology for over forty years. Rosa uses her writing to release the frustration and anger caused by failed attempts to find out who she is and where she came from. The author would like her readers to have a better understanding of what can happen when they become a part of an unsuccessful adoption triad.

Mrs. Ferguson is the proud mother of two sets of twins and currently resides in Olive Branch, MS with her husband.

In LOVED TO DEATH: A Different Kind of Love Story and the sequel, LOVED TO DEATH: The Truth Unfolds readers are introduced to a fictional Gaston City, Indiana and will see it through the eyes of Morosa Denise McKinley. Morosa is the adopted daughter of Morrow and Rose McKinley. Adoption, love, murder and intrigue seem to rule the day with the underlying theme being the pitfalls of adoption and what happens when a person isn't allowed to know the truth about themselves. These are the first two books in the LOVED TO DEATH short story trilogy

Follow the author along her virtual blog tour and as she chats with readers about her books and the challenges she faces in finding her roots. Enter for a chance to win a copy of LOVED TO DEATH: A Different Kind of Love Story and LOVED TO DEATH: The Truth Unfolds courtesy of the author. The winner will be announced at the end of the tour. I had the first book on my to-buy list and it was not available for a long time. I am glad it is back along with the sequel. I plan to read both soon.

Angelia,

Adoption is an easy topic for me to write about! Living a lie, so to speak, gives one great imagination. I use that for my writing.

Thank you!

Shai,

I don't know why the book wasn't available! You can purchase autographed copies from my website:
www.rosaferguson.com. The books can also be purchased through amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and booksamillion.com. And from the printer www.wastelandpress.net.

Hi Rosa. I love your books. To all of you who haven't read them yet, you're in for a treat!

Quick question Rosa. What would you say to all of us aspiring writers? How do we get started?

Shai said...

It was a long while ago and Amazon said out of print or something like that.

What sparked you to write the stories?

Monica,

Thanks so much for your endorsement! Love you bunches!

Tina,

The first suggestion I would make to any aspiring writer.... is to just start writing! Many people want to write but wait for something to come along for inspiration. All of us have imaginations, use it and write about it. A story will emerge.

Shai,

I did some checking after you asked the first question, I found out that the distributor only distributes the books for 2 years. After the two years is up, the author has to pay to keep the book available for distribution. Now that applies to self published books, I'm not sure if that's how it is for authors published by regular publishers.

There is a lot to learn in this business and believe you me, I am still learning!

Thanks for that earlier question!

What sparked the first book in this series was a dream I had one night. It was gruesome and gory and I couldn't get it out of my head. I decided to put the dream in writing and that became the first chapter of the first book. I really thought I was finished with the story when that book was complete, but the characters kept coming back to me and I gave birth to the second book in the series.

The book I'm writing now is the final book in the LOVED TO DEATH Short Story Series. The title of it is, LOVED TO DEATH: The City Speaks
